Grandmaster Jerson "Nene" Tortal was featured in the  Philippine local tv news. The report was broadcast in Illongo, the native dialect of GM Tortal.

DTS Voices of the Masters

Three DTS were featured in the Voices of the Master namely GM Jerson “Nene” Tortal Sr, GM Jerson Tortal Jr. and Master Jerry Evangelisan. In the videos, GM Jerson “Nene” Tortal Sr spoke for the opening, GM Jerson Tortal Jr give stick demonstration and Master Jerry Evangelisan spoke about coconut wine and sangok.





Voices of the Masters is Youtube channel that the essence of Filipino warrior traditions. Produced by Punong Guro Myrlino Hufana in order preserve and record these classical combat arts of the Philippines for future generations to come.
